Judas Set for Release in March 2025

THE NEW GAME CREATED BY BIOSHOCK DEVELOPER KEN LEVINE NOW HAS A SCHEDULED RELEASE DATE.

Publisher Take-Two stated that it intended to release the game between now and the conclusion of its 2025 fiscal year, which runs through March 31, 2025, in its financial reports this week.

One of the 87 games Take-Two intends to release during this window is Judas; 38 of these are mobile games, though there is always a chance of delays.

“We did have some slippage in the last few years,” Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told IGN. “We feel really stable right now. I feel great about our upcoming schedule.

“Of course, there’s always the possibility of some slippage but the teams seem to be functioning really well and I’m optimistic about delivering great titles to the marketplace on an ongoing basis.”

Judas is the first game from Ghost Story Games, which Levine established after Irrational Games, the BioShock developer, shut down.

It will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It was officially announced in December.

“A disintegrating starship. A desperate escape plan,” the game’s synopsis reads.

“You are the mysterious and troubled Judas. Your only hope for survival is to make or break alliances with your worst enemies. Will you work together to fix what you broke – or will you leave it to burn?”

According to Bloomberg, the game was once meant to be a shooter in the vein of BioShock that took place on a space station and included three resident groups that would respond to the player’s decisions.

It stated that the game had originally been scheduled for release in 2017, but that it had been delayed due to a number of personnel changes, including the loss of half of the original development crew.

Levine is not working on the newest BioShock game, which is being created at the Cloud Chamber division of 2K Games.
