Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the new tactical turn based strategy game from 2k and Firaxis Games, has been delayed. The game will now be coming out sometime in 2023 instead of fall 2022.

Midnight Suns has been delayed to the end of the fiscal year.

The game was originally scheduled for release in March, but it was pushed to be released in the fall.

Midnight Suns has been delayed. The game was originally scheduled for release in March, but it was pushed to be released in the fall.

The reason for the delay is unrelated to any issues with the game itself, nor does it have anything to do with what 2k has done since then (which we’ll discuss more below). It’s simply that they’ve decided that their new release date will give them more time to make sure everything is ready before they begin selling copies at retail stores around the world.

So why am I writing about this? Well, as you may know from reading our reports on Marvel’s Midnight Suns over the last few months (or even if you don’t), there have been some concerns raised about how much money 2k Games made off of microtransactions on its multiplayer games vs story based single player games—and how closely those numbers aligned with predictions made by analysts during its development process.

2k says it’s looking at ways to “Ensure that we can give the best possible experience” to fans.

The game had been in development since as early as June 2021.

“We have made the decision to move back the launch timing of Marvel’s Midnight Suns to ensure the teams at Firaxis Games and 2K deliver the best possible experience to our fans,” they said.

Midnight Suns will be delayed until sometime in 2023.

They don't want anyone getting upset about something like this happening again after spending money on the game itself.

The game was originally slated to come out in March of 2022, but it’s been delayed until sometime in 2023.

Why? Well, there were a lot of reasons. One is that the game had been in development since as early as June 2021 and needed more time so that they could make sure everything would work out properly once they released it. Another reason is because they want Midnight Suns to be perfect before releasing it—which means no bugs or mistakes! This also means keeping an eye on fans who might have issues with their character models or gameplay mechanics (like crashing). They don’t want anyone getting upset about something like this happening again after spending money on the game itself(See Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avenger game for a perfect example); so if your excited about this game then don’t worry too much! It’s not worth getting upset over just yet anyway unless they cancel the game outright which leads us onto another point…

Delays are Not a Bad Thing

It's better for a game to take it's time than to release it in an unfinished state.

We know it’s disappointing to hear news like this, but we think it’s better for a game to take it’s time than to release it in an unfinished state. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more about Midnight Suns and what’s next for our heroes.
