Florida Joker Shifts Approach, Proposes Voicing GTA 6 Character Instead of Lawsuit Threat

The individual known as the ‘Florida Joker’ in connection with GTA 6 has altered his stance after initially threatening Rockstar with a $10 million lawsuit. Lawrence Sullivan, the Florida Joker, wants to voice the character in the upcoming GTA 6 game.

Using TikTok as a platform for negotiation, Sullivan has extended an olive branch to GTA 6 developer Rockstar and parent company Take-Two. Initially accusing them of stealing his likeness for the December GTA 6 trailer, Sullivan has now changed his tune. In a recent video, he states, “GTA… we gotta talk,” and has extended the negotiation period, dropping his previous monetary demand of $1 or $2 million.

In a further update, Florida Joker is now proposing a deal to lend his voice to the GTA 6 character, stating, “I’m really not trying to sue y’all, but if I got to, I will.”

Sullivan, in his TikTok, proposes, “Hit me up, let me voice the character, give me more storyline in the game, and give me a few mills […] let’s make history happen.” He highlights his content about GTA 6 as a significant contributor to the game’s visibility: “Y’all see what I did for the game. We made news, we made the blogs, everybody’s covering me.” Sullivan even challenges Rockstar to find an alternative ‘Florida Joker’ within the state.

Remaining steadfast in his comparison, Sullivan has gone to lengths such as dying his hair purple to emphasize the likeness to the character. Additionally, he has made threats involving the GTA 6 hacker, increasing compensation demands to $10 million. While expressing a desire to avoid legal involvement, Sullivan makes it clear that he is willing to pursue legal action if necessary.
