Next Call of Duty Game Potentially Revealed in Warzone Datamine

Dataminers have uncovered potential clues suggesting that the next Call of Duty game could be revealed this month through an in-game event in Warzone. The discovery follows the release of the Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 3 Reloaded update.

The code suggests that the game, codenamed Cerberus, might be announced ahead of a dedicated showcase expected next month. Microsoft’s recent announcement of an Xbox Games Showcase on June 9, along with a teaser featuring Cerberus, further fuels speculation that this mystery game is the new Call of Duty title.

Dataminers also found references to a Cerberus reveal during Season 3, indicating that it could happen before the season concludes in late May. Additionally, players who pre-order the next Call of Duty game may unlock a character, Frank Woods, in Warzone, similar to previous promotions.

Moreover, the datamine hints at potential crossovers between Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone with other franchises like Fallout, Gundam, and The Crow in Season 4.

Reports suggest that this year’s Call of Duty is a new Black Ops game set in the early 1990s during the Gulf War, with Treyarch leading the development.

As anticipation builds, fans await further details and confirmation regarding the next installment in the iconic franchise.
