The Sims 4 has introduced its latest roadmap, titled the “Season of Love,” which includes two free updates, two DLC kits, and one expansion. This follows the completion of their first-half 2024 roadmap.
The roadmap teaser video hints at the new content. The first free update, released recently, features new swimsuit swatches and additional summer-themed color choices. The second free update’s details are yet to be revealed.
The two “destination kits” are themed around a setting resembling a café and a pool, with visual hints of wine glasses. Leaks suggest these kits may include pool area build items and early 1900s bar decor with speakeasy vibes.
The expansion, described with the clue “Fountain of desire: made waves but we WooHoo’d anyway,” remains a mystery. Speculations include a matchmaking career, getaway hotels, or romantic gameplay additions reminiscent of the “Hot Date” expansion from the original Sims game.
The release dates for the new content, aside from the recent swimsuit update, are not specified but are expected to arrive before autumn, given the summer themes.
