August Alsina is breaking the silence after being canceled for his, “entanglement” with Jada Pinkett Smith.
The R&B singer released a new song titled, “Shake the World” where he sings about his involvement with Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
“Well, of course some s – – t is bound to go down when you tangled up with the world’s favorite,” the singer teases on his track. He was teasing this song on his Instagram profile since Monday.
This song comes a week after Jada’s husband Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars on March 27th. Will Smith slapping Chris Rock has been a topic of discussion since the event took place and has spawned numerous articles, including this one.
Alsina also talks about how after he admitted to have an affair with Jada back in 2015. This was after Jada revealed as much during a 2020 episode of “Red Table Talk.”
“I heard I was canceled,” jokes the artist, “Well, let’s not speak on that. Red dot on my back, I became a target. And I’m flawed but flawless, that’s what makes me August.”
So far, neither Smith nor Pinkett Smith has commented on Alsina’s latest release.
