For the cast of “Batgirl,” filming was a literal punch in the gut, but the movie’s canned release stung more.
Actress Leslie Grace described her experience working on the canceled “Batgirl” movie, which Warner Bros. nixed last summer, and how she and co-star Brendan Fraser shot many action sequences..
While Grace, 28, was dressed in her latex suit, Fraser, who was supposed to play the villain Firefly in the DC movie, filmed battle scenes with her.
“In terms of the experience of shooting, we were all so excited for people to see a lot of the action, a lot of the practical shots we did with fire,” she said.
