The fifth installment of the Avengers series, which is no longer titled “The Kang Dynasty,” is scheduled for release on May 1, 2026. Although Destin Daniel Cretton, originally set to direct, exited the project in 2023, Shawn Levy, known for directing “Deadpool & Wolverine,” is reportedly in discussions to take over the role.
Additional confirmed cast members include Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Simu Liu, and Karen Gillan. Fans are eager to see if characters like Kate Bishop, who takes on the Hawkeye mantle in the Disney Plus series, will join the Avengers team in this upcoming film.
