BioShock Creator Ken Levine’s Latest Game is Judas

PLAYERS ARE TOLD IN THE DEBUT TRAILER TO “FIX WHAT YOU BROKE”

The next game from BioShock creator Ken Levine has been announced.

Judas is “a single player, narrative first person shooter”, according to a statement by Levine’s studio Ghost Story Games.

The game will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Steam and the Epic Games Store.

JUDAS – ANNOUNCE TRAILER

“A disintegrating starship. A desperate escape plan,” the game’s synopsis reads.

“You are the mysterious and troubled Judas. Your only hope for survival is to make or break alliances with your worst enemies.

“Will you work together to fix what you broke – or will you leave it to burn?”

It was reported back in October 2020 that Levine’s next game was entering the “later stages” of production.

A job listing for Ghost Story Games’ then-announced “immersive sci-fi game with RPG elements” claimed that the title was being created by a team of less than 35 people, which was said to be operating under a flat structure so that “every opinion counts.”

Irrational Games, the firm that created BioShock and its follow-up Infinite, was shut down by Levine in 2014 to make room for a new, smaller team, which became Ghost Story Games.

He stated at the time that the Take-Two owned business, which at the time employed 15 people, would focus on “narrative-driven” video games that were “very replayable.”
