BioWare’s upcoming RPG, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, has been confirmed as a “mature RPG” by game director Corrine Busche, who teased the inclusion of nudity and romantic elements. During a hands-on session with Game Informer, it was revealed that the character creation process allows players to adjust the chest size of the female protagonist, Rook, underscoring the game’s mature themes.
While topless nudity is confirmed, the presence of “bottom nudity” remains speculative, with BioWare hinting that fans will need to discover this for themselves. Additionally, there is potential for nudity within the game’s cutscenes, although BioWare has not explicitly confirmed this aspect.
In addition to its mature content, The Veilguard will feature comprehensive character customization. Players can preview how late-game armor will appear on their character, allowing for more personalized designs. The game will also support full armor transmog, enabling players to maintain the aesthetic of low-level but visually appealing armor throughout the game.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is set to launch later this year on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
