Leaked set photos from “The Witcher” season 4 provide the first look at Liam Hemsworth as Geralt. The photos, captured by Splash News and highlighted by Metro, show Hemsworth in costume, wearing a black shirt and boots, and holding Geralt’s silver sword. In one photo, he is seen cross-armed with the sword perched on a rock, while another shows him with Geralt’s medallion.
Interestingly, the scenes appear to recreate a confrontation between Henry Cavill’s Geralt and Vilgefortz, played by Mahesh Jadu, where Geralt is defeated. Cavill left the role in 2022, with Hemsworth set to portray Geralt in both the fourth and fifth seasons, the latter of which will be the show’s last.
Tomek Baginski previously praised Hemsworth’s look as Geralt, and Freya Allan, who plays Ciri, expressed confidence in Hemsworth bringing “heart” to the role. She acknowledged the challenges Hemsworth faces in taking over a beloved character but is excited to see his portrayal.
