Outrage Erupts as GTA Online Strips Over 180 Vehicles in Update

GTA ONLINE PLAYERS UPSET OVER VEHICLE REMOVALS IN LATEST EXPANSION UPDATE

Rockstar’s latest San Andreas Mercenaries expansion for GTA Online has left players disappointed as it removed over 180 vehicles from the game. Many of these vehicles have now been placed behind a $6-a-month paywall through the GTA+ subscription, available only to PS5 and Xbox Series players.

Though Rockstar had warned of removing “many lesser-used vehicles” ahead of the expansion, players were surprised to find nearly 200 vehicles gone, including some that were previously free to acquire. This move has sparked frustration and criticism among the player community.

Players expressed their disappointment on Reddit, with many feeling misled by the extent of the removals. Some players pointed out that Rockstar’s reason for streamlining the shopping experience was unnecessary, as the abundance of vehicles had never been a major issue in the game.

Despite this controversy, GTA Online remains an enduringly popular game with regular updates. However, the future arrival of Grand Theft Auto 6 may signal changes to the game’s ongoing support.
