Rockstar has issued a copyright strike against Mike Dailly’s old development footage. These videos are from over 10 years ago, and were used to show off his prototype work that he did for the game. Rockstar told him that they were not authorized to use it, and requested that he take it down from YouTube.

There is little to no development documentation surrounding the creation of the Grand Theft Auto series, with only a handful of videos from the original developers who worked at DMA during the series’ early days. However, Dailly’s allegation suggests that Rockstar is currently targeting those videos. This is the first notable public mention of this.
It has been claimed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will take place in an area based on Miami, and may feature a female playable character.
Bloomberg reports that the game, which it claims began development sometime in 2014, is “at least two years away”.
