Title: Sony’s Twitter Account Teases Spider-Man 4
Spider-Man: No Way Home released on digital home release March 15th and has been the most talked about film since December. Everyone has been excited about the potential sequels that could happen should Sony decide to continue Toby or Andrew’s story as the Webhead.
Social media has of course been vocal about seeing both Spider-Men get another film in thier respective franchises. Social media campaigns for movies are nothing new, last year saw the release of the hidden gem that was Zack Synder’s Justice League after years of campaigning on social media and billboard adverts.
Director of the OG Spider-Man trilogy is currently directing Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but when asked if we could see Toby’s version of Spider-Man return he said, “Anything is possible, really anything in the Marvel universe, any team-ups. I love Tobey. I love Kirsten Dunst. I think all things are possible.β
After being tagged on Twitter, Sony’s Official Twitter account got in on the fun as well saying, “well this has been fun for our mentions today ππ
friendly reminder, weβre just the social team!”
Currently, there are plans for a Toby Maguire led Spider-Man 4, as Tom Holland is currently set to reprise his role in another trilogy down the road. But it does seem that Sam Raimi is down to continue the franchise and Sony is looking set to create their own Spider-Man franchise outside the MCU.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is now available for digital purchase. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness comes out May 6.
