The Epic Games Store’s Next Free Game Has Been Revealed

CALL OF THE SEA WILL BE REPLACED BY WARHAMMER 40,000 GLADIUS, WHICH IS NOW FREE TO CLAIM.

The Epic Games Store’s next free title has been confirmed.

From March 16 through March 23, Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War, a turn-based 4X strategy game, will be completely free to download.

Call of the Sea, a first-person puzzle adventure game, which is now free to claim through March 16, will be replaced.

“An otherworldly tale of self-discovery and mystery set in the 1930’s, Call of the Sea is a love letter to the adventure genre about one woman’s search for her missing husband in the uncharted reaches of the South Pacific,” according to publisher Raw Fury.

“On a lush island paradise, you will unearth the remnants of a lost civilisation, investigate clues, and solve a variety of clever puzzles to piece together the fate of your husband’s expedition.”

According to Epic, the Epic Games Store gave away 99 free games last year (up from 89 in 2021).

Users claimed almost 700 million free games, totaling $2,240, up from $2,120 the year before, according to the business (down from 765 million in 2021).
