The PS Plus Essential Games for January 2023 Have Been Revealed

The first PlayStation Plus games for January 2023 has been officially confirmed by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

The PlayStation Plus Essential games for January will be Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (PS5/PS4), Fallout 76 (PS4), and Axiom Verge 2 (PS5/PS4), which confirms a recent leak.

From January 3 through February 7, the three games will be up for grabs.

 Essential is the entry-level PlayStation Plus membership tier, which offers subscribers access to a few ‘free’ games every month. 

As long as they continue to pay for PlayStation Plus Essential, players can continue to play these titles even when they are no longer eligible for claim at the end of the month (or a higher tier).

They won’t be able to play these games after their subscription expires unless they renew.

The PlayStation Plus Essential games for December are still accessible till January 2. They are Biomutant (PS5/PS4), Divine Knockout: Founder’s Edition (PS5/PS4), and Mass Effect Legendary Edition (PS4).

The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium game catalog lineup for January will be revealed “soon,” according to Sony.

WWE 2K22, various Far Cry and Yakuza games, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle Earth: Shadow of War, Ridge Racer 2, Heavenly Sword, Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus, and Pinball Heroes are among the games available this month through the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and Classics.

 According to Sony, the January Sale is presently running on the PlayStation Store and offers discounts of up to 75% on games and DLC.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, FIFA 23, Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West, and Gotham Knights are just a few of the almost 3,000 items that have been marked down.
