The Witcher 3’s Next-Gen Upgrade Delayed Indefinitely

CD Projekt Red has been hard at work fixing Cyberpunk 2077 after its rough launch in 2020. While putting out patches that breathe new life into the game they also had a plan for bringing next-gen upgrades to its other franchise, The Witcher. It seems now that isn’t the case anymore as they have recently cut ties with their Russian office of Saber Interactive which was not only working on upgrades for Cyberpunk 2077, but also an upgrade for The Witcher 3.

The Witcher 3’s next-gen update was set to release last year and was being outsourced. Now CD Projekt Red is switching development in house and have decided to postpone that update until further notice.

Until then The Witcher 3 is still fun to play no matter which console you play it on and you can find it on many consoles such as PS4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
